The Workablity I Program teaches independent living and provides comprehensive pre-employement placement, and follow-up services for youth in special education who are making the transition from school to work.
Latrice and LeQuinta are employed as artists at the Poseidon School based business YoungArtPeace. Both artists recieve a training wage while learning valuable experience. All art supplies are purchased with funds from the Workability I grant and proceeds from sales of artwork.
All proceeds will go towards supporting the young artists' career goals and art supplies.
